Last week a friend of mine messaged me to ask if I could possibly make a sock monkey for a young girl who had recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Angel is just 11 and her tumour is one that cannot be operated on. One option open to her is to have Proton therapy in America which will be NHS funded. Explaining about the Proton treatment would be too lengthy so here's a
link which explains it in detail. This therapy will be coming to the UK but not for another 4 years.
Together with my daughter Lucia we made Angel her sock monkey in the style of.......an Angel :)
